| Iranian photographer wins top prize at Slovenian contest |

TEHRAN -- Iranian photographer Maryam Zahirimehr has been awarded with the top prize at the Exposed International Salon of Digital Photography which was held in Slovenia. She won the FZS Gold medal for her photo “The time passes by” in the open color section of the event. Another Iranian photographer Mohammadreza Momeni was awarded with PSA honorable mention for his photo “The pit” in the landscape section of the event. A total of 1177 photographers submitted 11570 artworks to the secretariat of the festival out of which 2740 images were selected for the final contest and 76 photos were awarded. Each participant of the event will receive free printed illustrated catalogues with a CD. The catalogue has been previously rated as 5 star by FIAP. It includes all the awarded works and some of the other photos accepted in each section. SB/YAW END
