| Iranian Cultural Center opens in Moscow |

.jpg) TEHRAN -- A center opened at the Library for Foreign Literature in Moscow during a ceremony on Friday to promote Iranian culture.
The Iranian Cultural Center has been established under the auspices of Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Persian service of IRNA reported on Saturday.
The opening ceremony took place at the library attended by ICRO Director Mohammad-Baqer Khorramshad, Russian Deputy Culture Minister Andrei Busigin and a group of Iranian and Russian Iranologists.
Busigin said that the establishment of the center will be a good opportunity for the researchers and Iranologists of Russia to get to know Persian rich civilization more.
Pointing to the good relations between the two countries, Busigin said that the center will be a good location to hold different cultural programs as well.
Khorramshad also said that Iran and Russia intend to expand their relations based on cultural commonalities and historical background.
Moreover, an exhibition of Persian art and handicrafts was opened at the center on the sidelines, giving the participants the chance to get more acquainted with Persian rich art and civilization.
The Library for Foreign Literature is also home to the Iranology Foundation housing about 7000 books on Persian culture and civilization.
