Salehi holds talks with ICRC president on abducted Iranians

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_famous_02_sk1.jpgTEHRAN – During a meeting in New York late on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Peter Maurer, the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), held talks on various issues, including the efforts to obtain the release of the Iranian nationals recently abducted in Libya. 
 
On July 31, the Libyan Red Crescent said that armed men had kidnapped a seven-member delegation from the Iranian Red Crescent Society visiting the eastern city of Benghazi.
