Iranians abducted in Syria are in good health: deputy FM

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_behravesh20120328010218747.jpgTEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Friday that the latest news about the 48 Iranian nationals abducted in Syria confirm that they are “in good health”.  
 
Speaking to the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency, Amir-Abdollahian also said that efforts are underway to obtain their release. 
 
The Iranian nationals were abducted by the Syrian rebel al-Baraa Brigade, which is affiliated with the self-proclaimed Free Syrian Army, on August 4 and have been threatened with death.
