| Hamas congratulates Iran on anniversary of revolution |

 The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has congratulated Iran on the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution that toppled the U.S.-backed regime of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.
Hamas conveyed the congratulations in a statement to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian government, and the Iranian nation, the IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday
The statement was issued by the office of Hamas in Tehran.
The Iranian Islamic Revolution’s anti-Israel nature, the Islamic Republic’s closure of the Israeli embassy in Tehran, and establishment of an office for the Palestinian diplomatic mission at its place, was a great development in Palestine’s history of resistance against the Israeli regime, Hamas said in its statement.
