TEHRAN – Kaleh Mazandaran claimed the Iranian Volleyball Super League for the successive year on aggregate in a two-legged final on Friday.
Kaleh swept Matin Varamin 3-0 (27-25, 32-30, 25-23) in Tehran’s Azadi Hall.
Kaleh was defeated by Matin 3-1 in the first leg.
“After we lost to Matin in the first leg, I asked my players to forget the match and concentrate on the second leg. I am so happy since my boys showed a good performance against Matin,” Kaleh coach Behrouz Ataei said.
Peykan came third after beating Saipa 3-2 (26-24, 21-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13).
