TEHRAN – Iran and Oman has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the defense sector.
The MoU was signed by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Dehqan and his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidi during a meeting in Tehran on Tuesday.
Dehqan described defense cooperation between the two countries as exemplary and fruitful, saying that efforts should be made to promote the spirit of cooperation among regional countries.
Busaidi, for his part, said that his country is determined to strengthen defense cooperation with the Islamic Republic and congratulated Iran’s achievements in the area of defense.
