TEHRAN – During a ceremony in Tehran on Saturday Iran unveiled a number of domestically designed and manufactured technological products, including 12 cyber products.
Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan, Passive Defense Organization Director Gholam Reza Jalali, and a number of other officials attended the event.
“Today, very positive and great steps have been taken in the cyber field through reliance on the intelligence and creativity of our country’s scientists and experts,” Dehqan told reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony.
“Developing new technologies and indigenizing cyber technologies are regarded as important priorities for the Defense Ministry,” he added.
In a separate ceremony in Tehran on the same day, the 14th Exhibition of Research and Technology Achievements was inaugurated.
First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri and a number of other officials attended the ceremony.
