Mini coach hits mountain in north Tehran, 1 killed

TEHRAN – A minibus slammed into a mountain on Imamzadeh Davood road in northwest Tehran on Monday evening, IRNA reported.

The crash resulted in the death of one passenger and injury of 24 others said Golamreza Ganjabadi, the director of the Red Crescent Society in Tehran.      

Ganjabadi said upon the occurrence of the accident paramedics and emergency medical technicians were rushed to the scene to tend to the injured.  

Out of 24 injured, 12 were transported by a Red Crescent helicopter to the medical centers in Tehran and the rest were carried by ambulances to hospitals including the Milad Hospital.
