Iran beats Italy in FIVB World League on home court

On Friday, Iran beat Italy in straight sets (25-18, 25-20, 25-15) at a packed Azadi Hall in Tehran. 
 
Slobodan Kovac’s men will play Italy on Sunday. 
 
Mohammad Mousavi led Iran with 13 points, while Randazzo Luigi picked up 12 points for Italy.
 
Pool A leader Italy suffered its first defeats of this World League season when the team lost twice against Poland last week. 
 
Iran opened its campaign with two defeats against powerhouse Italy in its away games.
 
The Iranian team won two from four games against Brazil. 
 
Iran will host Poland next week.
