TEHRAN - Germany head coach Vital Heynen has shown interest to work in Iran one day.
“I was last year in Iran for the 2013 FIVB World League and I really enjoyed it,” The Belgian Heynen told the Tehran Times correspondent via email.
“I hope to come one time back to be a coach in Iran. I think the Iranian people like Volleyball and me too,” he added.
Iran finished fourth in the 2014 FIVB World League last month. The Iranian volleyball team defeated Brazil but lost to Russia, the U.S. and host Italy in Florence.
“You will only get better every year. I think you made very good results, but in my eyes, it will only get better because you get more and more experience on top level,” Heynen said.
