TEHRAN –
Tehran will host the upcoming annual meeting of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) from September 15 to 18, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced on Monday.

Iran’s deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs said that the 47 member states of AALCO will be holding the meeting to discuss a number of international legal issues, including the rights of refugees, international commercial law, economic sanctions, and issues related to violence and extremism.

AALCO is an international governmental organization established in 1956, initially to serve as an advisory board to member states on matters related to international law.
