TEHRAN – An Iranian lawmaker has said that the country’s security systems have identified certain groups who had intended to help the ISIL terrorists in Iraq.
“The security systems of our country are keeping an eye on all terrorist and subversive activities, and all people involved [in such activities] have been identified,” Hossein Naqavi Hosseini told the Mehr news agency on Tuesday.
He added that no movement is out of the watchful eyes of the Iranian intelligence forces, and the country will take appropriate measures at the proper time to deal with such movements.
“We are confident that there is no internal or external threat against our country’s security,” added Naqavi Hosseini, the spokesman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee.
