He made the remarks during the Commemoration of Islamic Human Rights Day and Human Dignity Conference, which was held in Tehran on Tuesday.

The United States, which makes claims about human rights, supports the Zionist regime, which is brutally attacking Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, he said.

Larijani added that this situation reveals the true nature of the countries that make claims about human rights.

Israel is conducting intensive attacks on the Gaza Strip from the air, land, and sea. The death toll has reached 1888, with women and children the main victims.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Larijani said, “We should seek an Islamic presentation of human rights.”
