| Iran will always side with Venezuela: Ahmadinejad |

.jpg) TEHRAN – Iranian nation will always stand by the Venezuelan nation and their brave president Hugo Chavez, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a welcoming ceremony at the Venezuelan presidential palace in Caracas on Friday night.
Commenting on the latest developments in the region and the world, Ahmadinejad said, “Signs of the demise of imperialism have appeared in the world.”
He also said, “Justice-seeking nations like Iran and Venezuela will definitely build their countries and make progress outside the dominance of imperialism.”
He went on to say that the Iranian nation appreciates the Venezuelan nation’s resistance against the pressure of imperialism and is proud that it has made friendship with the people of the country.
The revolutionary wave, which has rolled across the Latin American region, will definitely continue until all foundations of imperialism are eliminated, Ahmadinejad stated.
He also described Tehran-Caracas ties as close and said that the two countries’ officials are determined to enhance ties in various spheres.
During the ceremony, Chavez described Iran as “an influential country in the international arena,” and said that the sanctions and threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran will definitely get nowhere.
The Venezuelan president also reiterated his call for consolidation of ties with Iran in all areas and emphasized that his nation and government is on the side of the Iranian nation.
