The two sides underlined the need to expand cooperation in technical and engineering, vocational, and environmental fields.

They also explored ways to boost bilateral ties in the fields of agriculture and fishery, tourism, culture and education, as well as combat smuggling of goods and passengers.

On September 1, the first direct flight between Muscat and Tehran landed at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini international airport.
