| 160 oil and gas fields being developed in Iran: official |

TEHRAN - Some 160 oil and gas fields are being developed in Iran, a National Iranian Oil Company official announced on Monday.
According to the Fifth Five-Year National Development Plan (2010-2015), daily production of crude oil and natural gas should reach 5.1 million barrels and 1.5 billion cubic meters, respectively, Abdol-Mohammad Delparish stated.
Some 180 other oil and gas fields are planned to be developed as well, the official added.
