| Iran keen to boost bilateral trade with Bangladesh |

DHAKA (BSS) - Iran showed its interest to expand bilateral trade with Bangladesh as well as strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Iranian Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Mehdi Ghazanfari said both the countries have so many potential sectors where mutual cooperation is needed to further strengthen the bilateral trade.
"I firmly believe that both the countries have immense
opportunities in various sectors to expand the bilateral trade...and most important is to follow the agreement," he added.
Ghazanfari was leading a 31-member Iranian delegation in the two-day 5th Joint Economic Commission meeting.
During the fiscal 2010-11, Bangladesh exported goods worth $97 million to Iran and imported goods worth $63
million.
