Other aims of the event reportedly include identifying and introducing business opportunities, damage assessment of current trends in supplementary petrochemical industries as well as planning for qualitative and quantitative development of the industry.

The conference is further intended to better facilitate the investment process in Iran’s petrochemical industry and set the stage to boost incentives and increase the level of collaboration among relative organizations and agencies.

Meanwhile, the Iranian first vice-president told reporters upon arriving at Ahvaz airport on Tuesday that during his visit to Khuzestan, he will also inaugurate several development projects, including newly-built apartment complexes for first-time homeowners in the city of Dezful and a 100-bed hospital in the city of Ramhormoz.
