.jpg) TEHRAN – Two development projects related to tile and steel industries were inaugurated on Tuesday in Iran’s northern province of Gilan.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attended the inauguration ceremonies.
A project came on stream in the Khazar Tile Manufacturing Company, which will boost the company’s annual output to seven million square meters from 2.5 million square meters. Some 400 billion rials (about $16 million) has been invested in the project, ISNA reported.
Another project was inaugurated in the Khazar Steel Company. The project cost 1.8 trillion rials (about $72 million). It will add the company’s annual output by 700,000 tons. The project will create 500 job opportunities.
