|Swedish companies invited to make investment in Iran||
TEHRAN – The Iranian deputy finance and economic affairs minister has invited Swedish companies to make investment in Iran, IRNA reported.
In a meeting with Erik Belfrage, the chairman of the International Council of Swedish Industry, in Tehran on Wednesday, Behrouz Alishiri clarified Iran’s foreign policy and approach toward European countries and expounded upon advantages of investment in Iran.
Belfrage said for his part that although the economic sanctions imposed by the U.S. on Iran have undermined Iran-Sweden trade ties, but many large Swedish companies are interested in the expansion of economic and trade relations with Iran.
The International Council of Swedish Industry is a non-profit organization which supports and broadens the scope of operations of Swedish business in the markets inside Sweden as well as abroad.
