|Iran ready to offer incentives to Kuwaiti investors: official||
TEHRAN - Iran is ready to offer facilities and incentives to Kuwaiti investors seeking to invest in Iran, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Director Valiollah Afkhami said.
He underlined the importance of making use of investment opportunities in both countries to give a push to the bilateral economic ties, the IRNA News Agency reported on Monday.
Afkhami made the remarks in the 12th Iran-Kuwait Joint Economic Committee Meeting which kicked off in Tehran on Sunday.
During the three-day event, the two sides will discuss ways to remove obstacles that have impeded the expansion of trade, economic, industrial, and maritime cooperation.
Kuwait's delegation to the meeting is headed by Undersecretary of Commerce and Industry Abdulaziz Al-Khaledi and includes representatives of the Kuwaiti government. The meeting is also attended by Kuwait's Ambassador to Tehran Majdi Al-Thifiri, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
