| Iran ready to expand industrial ties with Egypt |

TEHRAN, Aug. 9 – Iran is ready for expanding economic and industrial relations with Egypt, said the Iranian deputy minister of industry, mine, and trade in a meeting with an economic delegation of Egyptian businessmen, here on Tuesday. Ahmad Khademolmelleh expressed Iran’s readiness for cooperation with Egypt in food industry, transportation and tourism sectors, IRNA news agency reported. “Exporting goods, launching joint production lines and transferring technology are the main pivots of developing economic and industrial relations between the two countries, he stated. Khademolmelleh announced that Iran also is keen to cooperate with Egypt in regard to developing food industries and transferring food industry technologies. According to Khademolmelleh, Iran has also the potential for expansion of cooperation with Egypt in the rail, sea, and road transportation sectors.
