altRaymond James analyst Pavel Molchanov said in an interview that it is unlikely unilateral U.S. sanctions against Iran's central bank will move the price of oil, or stem Iranian exports to countries like China and Russia.

"There is absolutely no evidence that those two countries would be willing to forego their own economic self-interest by imposing meaningful sanctions," Molchanov said. "If CBI can still do business with Russia, China, Turkey, a number of other countries, the effect of U.S. sanctions would be much reduced.
