| Iran to host first joint congress on cardiovascular diseases |

TEHRAN – Iran will hold the first joint congress on cardiovascular diseases on September 25 to September 28.
The venue of the congress is the Razi international conference center in Tehran.
The congress is primarily aimed at presenting the newest advances in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases with a focus on prophylaxis.
The Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons, the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia, the Iranian Heart Association, and the Iranian Scientific Society of Pharmacists are in close cooperation to host the congress.
Dr. Alireza Alizadeh Qavidel, the secretary of the congress, says the seminar is intended to promote the scientific knowledge of specialists and nurses working on the cardiovascular field.
Qavidel said experts from the U.S., Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey, Hungary, and Ukraine will participate in the four-day seminar.
