| 80 percent of Iranian patients ask for CAM |

 Tehran - Experts' researches of Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) shows that 35 percent of patients affected by cancer use various methods of complementary curing.According to the researches, 80 percent of patients ask physicians for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and 90 percent of them are satisfied by the method. Among those who have used this method, 38 percent has used one CAM method and 11 percent of them have used two methods of complementary and alternative medicines. CAM consists of a collection of behaviors and believes that are used by patients for prevention and curing the disease and also improvement of health condition. Experts say homeopathy is one of the common CAM methods of curing patients with various diseases, that is formally confirmed in Iran. It is attracting more and more Medics because of its holistic effects on one’s mind, psyche and body. Most of the remedies are solid globules or tablets that are manufactured with a delicate and scientific technology ending in highly diluted medicinal substances by adding double-stilled water.
