Nader Ebrahimi
Nader Ebrahimi (1936 - 2008) was an Iranian author, screenwriter, and photographer. 
Mostly known as a novelist, he wrote some 120 books in different subjects include children and teen's literature, adult literature, cinema and theater.
Born 1936 in Tehran, he received his literature diploma from prestigious Da’rul-funun School and entered the Faculty of Law at the Tehran University.
After two years, he decided to study at literature Faculty and graduated in English language and literature. 
Professional career of the late Ebrahimi in the field of children literature started when he established the institution of “Accompanying Children and Teens.” 
However, when his first work was published, he was in prison because of cooperating with 15 Khordad Movement in 1963. 
He wrote a number of stories, documentary and film scripts. 
Ebrahimi began his career as a director with the TV series “Fire without Smoke” and the screen version called “The Sound of the Desert” (1975). His second and last film was “The Day When the Air Stopped”.
Some famous film makers owe Ebrahimi’s efforts. Kamal Tabrizi, Ebrahim Hatamikia and Kiumars Poorahmad are those who expressed their affection to him in the funeral.
Poorahmad said: “His personality was full of love towards Iran and nature and there is no place for stinginess.” 
He added it is my honor that 35 years ago I was the student of Ebrahimi in “Fire without Smoke.” 
Whatever exist in his bookcases are books on both children and adult literature which his family tries to publish. On the other hand establishing late Ebrahini’s foundation is another subject his family is tiring to do. 
Executive director of Rouzbehan publication, Hamed Kani said: “From the beginning of establishing this publication, Ebrahimi’s works have been published by Rouzbehan and till now some of his 22 works have been published here.” 
Ebrahimi's wife, Farzaneh Mansoori pointed out to his unfinished books which she tries to publish and said: "We may give these works to a trustworthy writer to correct and complete them, some of his works have also been illustrated but have not published yet.” 
Books such as On Red Aqua Roads; A Man in Exile; A Calm Live; Black Millipede; Rain Myth; Human, Crime, Probability; A House for Night; Fire without Smoke; Forty Short Stories to My Wife, and Once More The City I Lived have been published severally. 
His career halted in 2001 when he was afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease.
