Iran invites Chinese to invest in economic projects

TEHRAN – Iran’s ambassador to Beijing on Monday called for the presence of Chinese investors and companies in Iran’s economic projects.

In a meet with the officials of Xiamen in southeastern china, Javad Mansuri voiced Iran Embassy’s preparedness for facilitating the Chinese investors’ presence in the projects of his country.

“Xiamen has great industrial and economic potentials and a strategic situation before Taiwan Island,” said the city’s mayor, calling for Iran’s more active economic presence in the city.

In his trip to Xiamen, Mansuri also paid a visit to China’s largest gold mine. China produced 272 tons of gold last year
