Poland’s Tusk says France may help build nuclear power plant
Poland, which relies on coal for 93 percent of electricity, will probably seek French help to build its first nuclear power plant.
“In 2020 we have to generate part of the energy we now get from coal from other sources, and obviously it can’t be only renewable sources,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk told a press conference in Gdansk on Saturday. “As far as nuclear power is concerned, France can be an incredibly attractive partner for us.”
