Aminpur’s “Grammar of Love” wins Book of the Year Poetry Award

TEHRAN -- “Grammar of Love” composed by the late poet Qeisar Aminpur won the best poetry award at the 26th edition of the Islamic Republic of Iran Book of the Year Awards.
“Grammar of Love” is one of the last in a series of works authored by Aminpur before his death last year and published by Morvarid Publications.
“The Rule of the Game” written by Firuz Zonuzi-Jalali also won the best novel award in this edition. The book was awarded as the selected novel at the Jalal Al-e Ahmad Literary Award ceremony held last November.
“From the Universal Manifestation” by late Tahereh Saffarzadeh, “Street of Fence” by Abolfazl Samadi, “Book of Nothing” by Hiva Masih, “The Last Minutes of the End of the World” by Mehdi Zarei, and “Secluding in Tears” by Fatemeh Nasr were among the nominees at the poetry section.
At the novel section, the nominees were “Mohammad” by Ebrahim Hassanbeigi, “The Empty Roads of War” by Mohsen Motlaq, “Hidden Association” by Ahmad Shakeri, “The Snakes Are Thirsty” by Amir-Mohammad Etemadi, “Hidden Portrait of Love” by Siamak Golshiri, “Piano Café” by Farhad Jafari, and “A Time to Go” by Habib Torabi.
