Iran’s Ehsan Hajsafi completed his move from Sepahan to FSV Frankfurt by signing a two-year contract with the Bundesliga second division side.

The German club coach and technical director are pretty happy with the signing of the Iranian international while the player himself can’t wait to play for his new team.
FSV Frankfurt coach Tomas Oral believes that Hajsafi is very good player who can be an asset to his team.
“Ehsan is a highly experienced international player who has played in the World Cup despite his relatively young age. We can strengthen our left side with him as he can play in both defense and midfield,” FSV Frankfurt head coach Tomas Oral told the reporters.
The club’s technical director Clemens Kruger is also happy with the signing and believes Hajsafi’s quality is beyond Asia.
“We are happy to sign an experienced player who has already shown his quality at the World Cup last summer. I know Ehsan’s style of play is beyond Asia and he can play at the highest level for us,” FSV technical director Clemens Kruger told club’s website.
Hajsafi who has not played outside of Iran before admitted that he wanted to play in Europe to experience a new challenge.
“After a successful career with Sepahan in my hometown I wanted to experience a new challenge. To Join a traditional club in the country who has won the World Cup last year is a step forward for me. I would like to thank FSV Frankfurt for giving me this opportunity and I will promise to try my best to repay this trust,” the 25-year old Iranian international told the reporters.
