TEHRAN – Isfahan’s A House for Architects is displaying a collection entitled “Little Games”, which was showcased at the 56th International Art Exhibition of Venice Biennial this year.

“Little Games” is a performance art, in which several numbers of large rectangular prisms are suspended from the ceiling, inviting visitors to look inside the prisms and watch images of contemporary Iranian architectural designs, director of architecture category in Venice Mehrdad Zavareh Mohammadi told the Persian service of ISNA on Tuesday.

“Each prism introduces four architectural projects in a fascinating manner,” he added.

The exhibit opened on Monday with a report on Iran’s participation in Venice followed by a short film, he said, adding that the exhibit would be running until November 26.

“A book containing images of the displayed works is also available for the visitors,” he added.

He also said that the exhibit would be displayed in Tehran in the next few weeks.

Curated by Mazdak Faiznia from Iran and Marco Meneguzzo from Italy, Iran’s pavilion covered an area over 2,000 square meters in Venice, displaying a variety of artworks by 52 artists.

Iran’s national pavilion was home to two big events, “The Great Game” introducing works by 40 artists from India to Iraq along with the collective works of some of the most celebrated contemporary Iranian artists, followed by the Iranian Highlights exhibit, a choice selection of four Iranian painters, photographers and conceptual artists.

The 56th International Art Exhibition entitled “All the World’s Futures” ran from May 9 to November 22, 2015 in Venice.
