Shojaei: Developingnations need national development pattern

TEHRAN -- President's Adviser for Women Affars and Head of the Women's Participation Center Zahra Shojaei here on Sunday said that developing countries should implement development plans which are in line with national and cultural norms. She made the remark in a meeting with wife of Bangladesh Ambassador to Tehran, Rana Hydar, adding that establishment of friendship group between women of Islamic republic of Iran and Bangladesh concerning cultural and social affairs is an effective step in getting to know the Muslim women of both countries.
Touching on the activities of the Women's Participation Center, Shojaei noted that the center has been able to present a profile of successful Iranian women and their effective role in the decision-making process of international organizations has been conspicuous.
