TEHRAN -- The Iranian musical ensemble Sol led by Bahman Mahabadi is to give a concert in Cologne, Germany in December.

The group and the Paris Philharmonic Orchestra previously performed concerts together in Paris last June.

Four Seasons Symphony to reverberate in Tehran

TEHRAN -- A film of a performance of the Four Seasons Symphony, composed by Antonio Vivaldi, will be screened at the Art Bureau in Tehran on September 18, 20, and 21.

“Good Night, Commander” to be screened at Turkish filmfest

TEHRAN – The Iranian film “Good Night, Commander” is scheduled to be screened in the non-competitive section of the 43rd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, which opened yesterday in the southwestern Turkish seaport.

Directed by Ensieh Shah-Hosseini, the film tells the story of an Iranian woman sent to the front to report on the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war. On the night of an operation, she loses her way during a driving rainstorm.

The festival runs until September 23.
