Iran and Nicaragua to expand media cooperation

TEHRAN -- Director of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Ezzatollah Zarghami visited Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega in Managua on Sunday in order to discuss greater media cooperation between Iran and Nicaragua.

President Ortega referred to Iran’s media as powerful, and announced that he is happy to broadcast Iranian productions in his country.
He went on to say that Nicaragua will draw on Iran’s experience to improve its media industry and that he welcomed proposals for developing activities in this field.
“IRIB’s achievements are the property of all revolutionary nations around the world and Iran is ready to share technical and artistic experience with its friends,” IRIB director Zarghami announced during the event.
