SP phase 6 platform installed

ASSALUYEH -- The 2800-ton offshore platform of the South Pars gas field’s phase 6 was installed successfully Sunday, Mehr reported.

The platform was loaded on the related jackets already installed 105 kilometer off the Assaluyeh shore, 60 meters deep in the Persian Gulf waters.
By completion of the operations, the South Pars’ phases 6,7, and 8 will become operational in near future.
The three mentioned phases will produce 158,000 barrels of gas condensates per day and 1,600,000 tons of liquefied butane and propane gas yearly for export.
Sadra Marine Industrial Company has constructed the platforms of South Pars’ phases 6, 7 and 8.
