Turkey to invest $12b in South Pars: NIOC chief

TEHRAN – Turkey will invest $12 billion in the development of the South Pars gas field phases 22, 23 and 24, National Iranian Oil Company’s managing director said here on Sunday.
“Iran’s gas export to Turkey, Turkmenistan gas export to Turkey via Iran, Iran’s gas export to Europe via Turkey, and the development of South Pars phases 22, 23, and 24 all show Iran and Turkey’s expansion of ties in the energy sector,” Seifollah Jashnsaz explained, IRIB reported.“Although Tehran meeting will not be the last round of the two country’s talks, but the results of the negotiations will be finalized soon,” he added.
Currently Iran exports 50 million cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey daily and another 23 million cubic meters would be added to that figure
