TEHRAN – Mahshid Mirmoezzi has recently completed translating German author Martin Suter’s “Lila, Lila” into Persian.

The novel, which came out in 2004, is about David Kern, a 23-year-old literature enthusiast who has a part-time job as a waiter.

The Persian version is scheduled to be published by Amut Publications in Tehran in the near future.

Miroazzi, a prolific translator of German literature, is currently working on German writer Timur Vermes’s “Look Who’s Back”.

The bestselling satirical novel imagines what would happen if Adolf Hitler reawakened in present-day Germany.
