Behrouz Ataei has been named as head coach of Iran U-20 volleyball team on Wednesday.

He will take charge of the Iranian team in the 18th Asian Men’s U-20 Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Koahsiung, Chinese Taipei from July 9-17.
The defending champion Iran has been drawn in Pool B with Qatar, a team from Central Zone and Hong Kong. 

Ataei was late Hossein Madani’s assistant in senior Iran volleyball team from 2010 to 2013. 

He also coached the Iranian team in Boys’ Youth World Championship in 2011 in Argentina. 

Ataei has already headed Iranian volleyball clubs Matin Varamin and Kalleh.
