Iran brings technicians back home from Kirkuk

TEHRAN – Iranian engineers and technicians, who have been working in the Iraqi Kirkuk city, have returned home after four of their colleagues were killed by Daesh on Friday.

The Iranian Consulate in Sulaymaniyah announced late Friday that all Iranian technicians and workers based in the Iraqi governorates of Kirkuk and Nineveh were taken to Iran, IRNA reported.

Four Iranian technicians were killed and four others were injured in the Daesh attack on a power station in Kirkuk.
