TEHRAN – Former chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili has said that he has not yet decided whether to run, for a second time, in the upcoming presidential election.

“There’s still a lot of time left,” Jalili was quoted by ILNA as saying.

He made the remarks on Friday during nationwide rallies marking the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran plans to hold its next presidential election on May 19. President Rouhani will most likely seek a second term in the forthcoming election.
