Iranian airliner to buy Fokker engines from Rolls Royce

TEHRAN – Iranian airliner Aseman has reached an agreement with British Rolls Royce for buying Fokker aircraft engines, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday.

According to the agreement Aseman will buy 100 Tay-650 engines and Rolls Royce will also provide the Iranian airliner with spare parts and maintenance.

Aseman is also in talks with a German company for a three-year lease of three Boeing 738 aircrafts.
