TEHRAN – Security forces of Iran have said Nazar Zaka, who was arrested in 2015 on suspicion of espionage and had been identified as a Lebanese-American citizen, had a mission to undermine family values and downgrade the status of women in Iran.

“Zaka confessed he had a mission to undermine the family and women. He confessed that he had received 8 million euros to create 15 NGOs” to carry out his mission, Kermanshah’s IRGC Deputy Commander Sardar Sayyari said, Mehr news agency reported on Wednesday.
