Intl. Festival of Children’s Games and Toys opened in Qazvin

TEHRAN – The 6th International Festival of Children’s Games and Toys opened in Qazvin on Wednesday.

Local games once played in regions in Lorestan, Gilan, Zanjan, Ilam, and Golestan are being introduced in the Yesterday’s Games category, the Persian service of IRNA reported on Thursday.     

In addition, the organizers offer toys at 25 pavilions set up at Sad-us-Saltaneh Passage.  

Over 600,000 people from Iran and other countries visited the festival over the previous editions of the event, the organizers announced.

The festival also showcases a large number of the dolls produced by locals in various regions of Iran.

Puppeteers from across the country are scheduled to perform shows during the event, which will run until March 30.

The report gave no information about participating countries in the festival.
