Book City Institute to host workshops on Persian translation of philosophical texts

TEHRAN -- The Book City Institute in Tehran will be hosting workshops on the Persian translation of philosophical texts.

The workshops will be organized for five weeks every Tuesday from May 2, the institute has announced on Tuesday.

Participants will be asked to translate texts by the Greek philosophers Plato and Aristotle, Dutch philosopher Baruch Spinoza, and German philosophers Friedrich Hegel and Martin Heidegger.

The texts have been selected by scholar Mohammad-Mehdi Ardebili and will come in English. The translated texts will be reviewed and discussed during the workshops.
