“Owsia” crowned best at Trenton Film Festival

TEHRAN – Iranian documentarian Alireza Dehqan’s “Owsia” (“Darkened Water”) has won the best short documentary award at the Trenton Film Festival in the United States.

“Owsia” is about ancient aqueducts in the central Iranian city of Yazd.

“Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?” by Tomer Heymann from Israel received the best feature-length documentary film award at the festival, which was held in Trenton from March 30 to April 2.

“Jasmine” by Dax Phelan from the U.S. was named best film.
