Tehran, Helsinki sign MOU on customs co-op

TEHRAN- Head of Islamic Republic of Iran's Customs Administration (IRICA) Masoud Karbasian and Director General of Finnish Customs Antti Hartikainen signed an MOU on customs cooperation in Helsinki, IRNA reported on Wednesday.

The MOU is Iran’s first agreement of kind with a European country since the implementation of JCPOA.

Under the terms of the inked MOU, Iran and Finland’s customs organizations will cooperate on customs regulations, value of goods, commodity classification, transportation regulations, as well as countering narcotics.
