TEHRAN – Iran’s interior minister has said before casting live the presidential debates, all the aspects of the plan should be thoroughly considered.

“Live debates in [2009] had heavy costs and we should consider their entire aspects beforehand,” Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Saturday, ISNA reported.

In the meantime, he said no entity has the right to censor the debates except in occasions when “they are against morals or contain accusations or slanders.”
