Tehran gallery debut to showcase art elites’ works

TEHRAN -- Tehran’s newly-established gallery Farmanfarma will hold its first show by displaying works by prominent Iranian artists. 

Works by Aidin Aghdashlu, Jazeh Tabatabai, Hanibal Alkhas, Iraj Zand, Parvaneh Etemadi, Mehdi Sahabi and dozens of other artists have been selected to be showcased at the exhibit entitled “Figure and Figuration”.

The exhibit will be organized from April 28 to May 19 at the gallery located at the Second Araabi St., North Kheradmand St. in the Karim Khan neighborhood.

The gallery is owned by Toktam Farmanfarmai who is a graduate of cultural programing management. She has been doing painting since she was a child and has so far held several solos and group exhibits.
