Nicolae Gioga starts his work as Iran rowing head coach

Nicolae Gioga from Romania has started his work as head coach of Iranian rowing teams, Gholamreza Amini, president of Iran Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Federation, said.

According to Amini, the Iranian team will participate at the 2017 World Rowing Cup II which has been scheduled for June 7.

The Iranian rowers will also take par at the 2017 World Rowing Cup III. The competition will be held in Lucerne, Switzerland on June 28.

“Our main objective is to prepare our rowers for the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. We are going to win more medals in the upcoming event. Nicolae Gioga is an experienced coach and can help our rowers to get better results,” Amini said.
